Voice Lessons are appropriate for a child when the vocal cords have developed sufficiently that serious singing will not cause damage. This takes place at about ten years of age. Florida Enrichment Academy voice lessons enable the student to explore their vocal range without damage to their vocal cords. Lessons are designed to develop an exciting, yet healthy singing voice.
Voice lessons teach breathing, phonation, resonance, diction, and musical expressiveness as well as sight singing, harmonizing and reading music. Choice of repertoire will largely depend on the student’s voice and personal preferences.
